The graphs on this page are linked together to give a full solar cell simulator. They follow the graphs previously in this chapter with some minor alterations but all the equations used to code this simulator are analytical and demostrate that the theory can describe a solar cell.

Running the simulation

Firstly, the page does not always load fully. If this happens click on page refresh. It is also necessary to alter the sliders on the collection probability graph first.

As this is a full cell simulator some of the graphs are slightly different to those earlier in this chapter. In the collection probability graph the slider controls the doping of the top layer and then calculates the diffusion length from the Auger formula.
